Soul Food Made with Love

I just want to thank my mom, Doll, for everything she did for me. From the time I was a kid, I looked up to her in every way — especially in the kitchen. I stood right by her side while she cooked, and she poured every one of her teachings into me. Everything I know about cooking came from her. She was the kind of woman who could walk into a kitchen with almost nothing and walk out with a meal that made you feel like everything was going to be alright. That was her gift, and she gave it to me.

Without her, there would be no Doll's Kitchen. This truck is my way of honoring her and keeping her legacy alive. Every recipe, every seasoning, every plate that goes out the window carries a piece of her in it. This isn't just food — it's her story, told one meal at a time. She taught me that soul food isn't only about what's on the plate. It's about the love you put into it, the people you feed, and the memories you create. That's what we bring to Fresno every time we open up — a little piece of home.
